The first part of this fishery is a delightful little stream type water narrow winding and good depth it includes a weir pool at the top end by the main river. Very good for large chub with plenty of swims looking likely to hold them. Roach by the net full dace, bream, perch and pike. The main river is a long walk from the car park, this does have some notable bream swims, by the railway bridge being the best.  Also plenty of roach along with all the usual species.
ROUTE - From London take the A10T to Royston , pass through on the A10 then at roundabout just beyond turn left onto A505. Then to the next roundabout junction with A1198 turn right. Continue on A1198 until ‘Wood Green Animal Shelter’ is seen on the right hand side of the road then turn right into Godmanchester on minor road. Follow this into Godmanchester turning left into West Street (B1043 Offord Cluny) and at a fork road bear right into Berry Lane follow this to car park on the left hand side just before bridge over the Leabrook.

PARKING - Park in the car park.

ENTRANCE - Cross the bridge over the Lea Brook and then over disused railway track, turn sharp left and proceed along track and under railway bridge to entrance gate which is padlocked.

N.B. Members are not permitted to use this entrance at the opening of the season - until the grass has been cut.

BOUNDARY Turn left and over to the Leabrook, where the boundary commences and proceed along this back-stream to overflow weir on the main Ouse, then turn right and down the main river frontage until reed bed is observed, miss this, as it does not form part of the fishery, and commence again at its end and the continue to the boundary by railway embankment. Alternatively for shorter access to lower end of main river, opposite Brampton Mill. After you cross the disused railway line do not turn Sharp left ( for Leabrook) but follow the track to the right and pass under another railway bridge to entrance  (Association Key Required), then keep to the hedge which turns sharp right and follow this until lower fishery is reached.
