This pit recently stocked with carp, also contains tench, bream, roach, perch, rudd and also good pike. Very weedy in summer a rake is a must on this venue, but fish will move in and feed soon after raking has been done, in fact, this is so successful it is recommenced. The small carp that have been stocked seem to be growing very fast and are now often seen moving on the surface in numbers. We may see reports of captures of this species start to increase as they become worth fishing for, in the mean time, the tench can still produce good sport and have been reported up to double figures. | ||||
