These are wonderful stretches of the Great Ouse, producing excellent bags of fish from waters as varied in character as an angler could wish for. Roxton ‘B’ willow tree lined banks right through this section. The fields tend to be ploughed very close to the water at times making access difficult. Bream shoals are present but seem to be hard to locate no real good swims. Chub are found throughout as are the roach. | ||||||||
| Expect plenty of roach and bream with a good sample of chub also perch, dace, pike, tench and carp. | |||||||||

ROUTE -
From London take the A1/A1M to Biggleswade and Tempsford. Before reaching Tempsford turn left at sign post to Blunham. Cross two humped back bridges over the (River Ivel and backwater) then on past the Blunham fishery to Barford Bridge. Go over the bridge then turn right past the 'Anchor Public House' which will be on your left. Follow this to the sewage treatment works for first entrance. Continue on to road junction turn right to lay-by. |
PARKING -
On the grass verges at the top of the road so as not to cause obstruction. Or in lay-by. |

ENTRANCE -
First Entrance down the side of the sewage treatment works to the river. Second down the near side of ‘Roxton Hill House’. |

BOUNDARY -
The line of poplar trees along side the gardens two meadows downstream from Barford Bridge . From this point members can fish the banks up to the far end of ‘Roxton Hill House’ over a mile in length. |
