| This is a vast lake fishery full of character, one end being islands and underwater shelves with plenty of dead trees giving plenty of features. The other end a large deep open part, which contains most of the very big bream. The lake is renowned for containing big catfish, it is not known how they became residents, but the only fish recorded by us were small. Some very big bream shoals and double figure bream reported along with big tench. Also found are roach, rudd, perch, crucian carp and carp, the water also contains large pike. | |||||||||
